If you step down off your instinctive emotive response for a second, you will see that I was commenting on that particular case. You appear to be on the defensive over your sexuality. Does it bother your conscience?
i thought that the wts had all of the answers, but now i dont know anything for sure, i am comnvinced though of the existence of god and that thers is more to life than what we are experiencing now.
but i am not going to get imvolved in the mechanics of worhiping god via religion joining them or to get enveloed in those believes .

But, do not leave GOD out of the equation. You are still part of the creation. It may be an idea to write an essay about yourself and your beliefs and then review your essay. Anything that seems flimsy and not based upon reason needs to be torn apart and examined with fresh eyes.
Then after much thought and study, write the essay again (or list) and see how close you are to agreeing with the definition of self. Part of your journey may involve simply knowing where you stand in your own heart and mind.

That statement doesn't sound too good to be honest. I'm sure he was struggling with his sexuality (fair enough). His promiscuity bothers me. What about "those boys" and the trail of effected people on his personal quest to satisfy his sexual cravings?
Are we advocating promiscuity as a valid way to live here?

Yet again the article is another example of an author trying to rationalize and ultimately debunk the Christian faith and practises within the 1st century by attempting to define parallels between pagan & Christian practise.
When Pharoahs priests came up against Jah they were able to perform "miracles" by "duplication" to a "degree". There is a possibility that demons through pagan custom and ritual were already performing signs to deceive the nations at that time and also throughout mankinds history.
The use of tongues within Pagan ritual is not remarkable, neither is the need for translation. It could simply be the methodology required for direct communication between a spirit source through to man at that time period. Whether that source be dark or light. No difference to my mind.
To communicate from the spirit world requires some kind of grounding vessel, a willing medium. It happens today, it happened then, so what?

It all depends upon the malevolant spirits and their combined push to control the minds of those in charge of this hideous world. What about healing the sick, casting out demons, creating huge amounts of food out of little, the resurrection etc ?

Now to be incredibly unpopular. Whilst not agreeing with the way his thoughts come across entirely, I can see what he is getting at. Women are given special status above and beyond men within Western society. The papers and TV are full of scantily clad nubile young women and men worshipping the ground they walk upon. It is a form of idolatry and places sex at the upper end of most men's personal agenda.
A woman can rule your life and your thoughts when in reality, the woman should encourage the man towards his spiritual goals.
A lot of women I have met have simple material aspirations through the man. Get a man with a high-powered job, get a big house, get a car, have a healthy bank balance etc.
It is true that a lot of men aspire to these values as well, but if women aspired to less than this, would the man be motivated in the same way to support this lifestyle? I do not think so. Some men thrash themselves to death for their families "wants" - working long, long hours just to keep the woman in her place. Just to keep the outward appearance of prosperity alive.
